Free Postage to UK This is a lovely vintage Murano Sommerso geode ashtray / bowl dating to the 1960s Sommerso (Submerged), is a form of Murano artistic glass that has layers of contrasting colors, usually two, which are formed by dipping a gather of colored glass into another molten glass & then blowing the gather into a desired shape. The outermost layer or casing, is often clear.
