MATERIALS & COMPOSITION Because I value our planet & our traditions I only use natural vegetable tanned leather, a process which unlike mineral tanning is carried out with great respect for the environment while giving the leather an outstanding look & feel. It’s full grain which is the most prized layer as it is made of the densest fibers. The thread is made of beeswaxed wired linen, which means it passes into a starch bath into which beeswax is added. It is then brushed with horsehair & stretched. These operations give the thread a smooth & durable aspect combined with a strong hold.
