This pair were made in the early 90’s & are an emulation of typical designs from the 1960’s. There was a lot of big gold logo obsession back in the early 90s but in many cases, what was underneath the logo was a straightforward design classic like this, & they were all drawing upon the same aroma of 60s Dolce Vita chic, with mixed results. The ones that stuck to original silhouettes like this one did, fared better in hindsight.
