That’s really all one has to say. Brilliant large format teardrop frame face of translucent honey fades into deeper reddish amber temple connections. Heaven. This 8000 series of giant Zeiss frames are made from a rainbow of Optyl resin, the same frame material for all the iconic 70s frame imprints such as Christian Dior, Carrera, Dunhill & Serge Kirchhofer. But somehow these particular Zeiss styles have stayed super under the radar, & are personal favorites of mine. Unworn deadstock/NOS in timewarp vintage condition. Factory sticker still attached. Frame colors pop. No discernible scratches. Original hardware is intact & shines bright - no verdegris/oxidation. Metail details are intact. Five barrel hinges remain supertight. Note these frames are at least 40 years old & it is typical to require slight adjustments to fit any individual, to be handled by your eyecare professional. Original brown tinted Zeiss Clarlet CR 39 UV lenses exhibit the slightest bit of scuff from storage - visibility remains excellent. However, you may want to replace them. Measurements in inches.
