We love these antique, crescent lens or half-moon, pince nez eyeglasses. The gold eyeglasses measure approximately 4 inches across the front & each half-moon lens measures approximately 1 3/4across. These reading eyeglasses date to the early 1900’s & the exact magnification is unknown. The eyeglass frame & glass are in very good condition & has only light wear. The inner nose bridge is marked Schwab & 12 which we believe means they are 12k gold filled but we have not tested them. The eyeglasses come with an original, antique, blue velvet lined, metal hard-case that shows a little wear but closes & hinges nicely. It also has the original cleaning cloth with the owners address in Wellesley, MA which is so fun. We googled the address & the house is still there. We love the look of these eyeglasses!
