Antique Ear Shaped Flat Case - Vintage Teardrop Silver Toned Aluminium Box Container With Velvet Interior

This charming little antique box is quite light, of aluminium with a deep purple velvet interior. Roughly 3 long x 2 at it’s widest & 0.5 deep. Opens & closes shut well via a push button. in an unusual ear shape, I’m not sure what it was originally meant to keep safe, Possible folding spectacles, but it is quite flat.
