Produced at the turn of the 80s when the oversized look still prevailed but the frames were becoming slimmer & somewhat more feminine. in this case there’s a slight cat eye point to an otherwise rounded shape. But the main feature is the light tone grey lenses that will keep the emphasis on your eyes in conjunction with the frame. They have a polarised treatment & become a little darker in sunlight but not too much. Certainly they are more like a true fashion accessory than for keeping the sun at bay. They have an unusually charming abstract grey & white patten on the brow which in our line of work, we’re obliged to remind, is the reason you should be looking at vintage, because this kind of thing is not available in any modern equivalent in any price range, as it’s too specialised a taste.
