Original 70s matt frame aviators with extremely light tone lenses. They were part of the 70s craze for polarised lenses which became generally available to everyone at that moment & this pair had the ‘rapid reactor’ tag. in the intervening 44 years or so since then, the potency of that reaction is not so pronounced & we have pictured them outdoors to illustrate the darkening. So it’s best to assume they will remain fairly light. However we’re quick to point out that the potency of their visual impact is still robust, & very unlikely to disappoint. Giving the flavour of the 70s oversized look (but not to a goofy extent) they have that optimum teardrop shape that in our line of work, is a mammoth task to track down. Of course we sell the goofy ones as well but thats not what’s on offer here. They are very slightly larger than typical contemporary designs but not that much. They can be worn indoors without making you look like you escaped from rehab. They are not in the flexible nylon frame category which we can appreciate is impossible to tell the difference online. They have metal arm interiors & are solid. & yes, we also sell those flexible ones, so we know the difference. Unused NOS in very good overall condition.
